SUN Cartridge Valve FSFS-XAN For Flow Divider And Combiner Needs

The SUN FSFS-XAN cartridge valve is a synchronizing flow divider/combiner featuring sliding-spool, pressure-compensated technology designed to split flow in one direction and combine flow in the opposite direction.

Key features and applications:

• Enables synchronization of two hydraulic cylinders to fully stroke and synchronize at end of stroke
• Pressure-compensated reduced flow metering when first cylinder reaches stroke end
• Physically interchangeable with other flow divider/combiner cartridges of same frame size
• In dividing mode, circuit leg with greatest load receives higher percentage of flow
• In combining mode, circuit leg with lowest load receives higher percentage of flow
• Synchronization feature provides bi-directional static error correction
• Synchronization flow approximately 15% of minimum rated input flow
• Incorporates SUN floating style construction to prevent internal binding

Important Considerations: In applications with rigid mechanisms between actuators, operating inaccuracy may cause system lock-up. In motor circuits, rigid frames or synchronized motion mechanisms may contribute to cavitation, lock-up, or pressure intensification.
