The SUN CKIB-XCN is a pilot-to-open check valve featuring:

  • Non-sealed pilot and steel seat construction
  • Non-vented design with free flow from port 2 to port 1
  • Blocks reverse flow while pilot pressure at port 3 opens the valve
  • Provides hose break protection and load stabilization
  • Heat-treated seat and poppet for extended service life
  • Optional external porting configuration available
  • Floating style construction minimizes internal binding

Key Applications: Hydraulic systems requiring load locking, hose break protection, and drift prevention.

Technical Notes: For motion control applications, counterbalance valves should be used instead. Models with EPDM seals are specifically for phosphate ester fluid systems. Corrosion-resistant variants are available with /AP or /LH suffixes.
