The SUN FSFH-XAN is a high-capacity, closed-center flow divider/combiner featuring sliding-spool, pressure-compensated design for precise flow distribution in tractive drive systems. This valve offers approximately 15% greater capacity than standard closed-center divider/combiners.

Key Features:

  • Designed specifically for tractive drive applications
  • Splits flow in one direction and combines flow in the opposite direction
  • Pressure drop at minimum rated input flow: 30 psi
  • Pressure drop at maximum rated input flow: 350 psi
  • Valve installation torque: 350-375 lbf ft
  • Available with Buna, Polyurethane, or Viton seal kits

Important Considerations:

  • Operating characteristics cause the circuit leg with greatest load to receive higher percentage of flow in dividing mode
  • In combining mode, the leg with lowest load receives higher percentage of flow
  • Rigid mechanisms between actuators may cause system lock-up if not designed to accommodate valve operating inaccuracy
  • Motor circuits with rigid frames may experience cavitation, lock-up, or pressure intensification
